Donations for building a "Pulling Boat"

With your help, we can get a beautiful pulling boat built especially for Mariners.    We have the mold.  As soon as we reach our goal, we can order the boat to be built by Columbia Yachts.  We would then plan to add it to our fleet in Dana Harbor.

With this boat, our Mariners can train in team rowing.  We would then be competitive against the sea scouts from San Francisco Bay when we attend AMR at the California Maritime Academy in the Spring. 

The boat is modeled on the life boats common on vessels in the last century.  It is quite seaworthy in the open ocean.  Rigged with a mast, it can be sailed as well, thus enabling cruising voyages to Newport and Oceanside harbors.
